WARNING: This most might be a bit emotional…proceed with caution.

I’ve known these two beautiful young women since they were in 6th grade. They were part of the small group I led and it was so incredible and beautiful to watch them grow and fall in love with Jesus. In ministry you pour into students or whoever it may be and wonder if they get it. You hope that your sinful self does not hide the grace and truth of the Gospel when you fail. You pray that just one person ‘gets it’. If you pour into millions and only one comes to Christ, the Kingdom celebrates. Well, these are TWO that got it. Not the only two-by the goodness of God- but two that are especially dear to my heart. Sleepovers and movie nights and youth events- they were there for it all and their unwavering faith has spoken more than they could know to their peers. They both have such an incredible future ahead of them-no matter where they end up-because they know to whom they belong and what really matters.

Jay and Jo, it has been an absolute privilege to know you. You have blessed my heart, encouraged my spirit, and always remind me of what it’s all about. I am praying over you two as you graduate and start this amazing new chapter in your life. Know that I am always here and even though I don’t get to see yall hardly ever, we are celebrating the same Savior daily and yall are forever in my heart and prayers.

Thank you SO much for letting me take your senior photos, your so special to me! I pray that when you think of me you think of two things:

1. I love you!

2. Stand firm in the faith.
